Fern

Meet Fern.

Fern was found alone on the side of a highway, crying in distress. Just three pounds, with no mother, no flock, and no protection. Her rescuer searched for where she might have come from, but there wasn’t another sheep in sight.

It’s truly remarkable she was seen at all. So tiny, so vulnerable… and yet, she was found. Without that moment, she would not have survived.

When she arrived, she was still so new to the world that her umbilical cord remained attached. And yet, despite everything, she is strong. She is eating well. She is fighting for her life in the most quiet, determined way.

We named her Fern, after the gentle and compassionate girl from Charlotte’s Web who saw the value in a life others might overlook. And just like her namesake, Fern is a reminder that every life matters, no matter how small.
She now has safety, warmth, and a future filled with care and love.

If you’d like to be part of Fern’s journey, please consider becoming a monthly sponsor. Your support helps provide the ongoing care she needs to grow, heal, and thrive.

Because Fern isn’t just surviving anymore. She’s home.
