Fern’s journey began when she was found all alone alongside a road, cold, scared, and weighing only three pounds with her umbilical cord still attached. After arriving at the sanctuary, she faced critical, scary health challenges and underwent surgery at a very young age. Raised in the house with dedicated round-the-clock care, Fern proved to be an incredibly strong survivor.

Today, Fern has adjusted wonderfully to sanctuary life alongside her fellow animal friends, growing into a sassy, smart girl who absolutely loves snacks! From a tiny, fragile lamb who beat all the odds to a confident, joy-filled sanctuary resident, Fern’s resilience reminds us every day of the power of second chances.
