At 11 years old, Oreo has outlived her entire herd — a quiet heartbreak for such a social, gentle soul. Sheep are deeply emotional beings who thrive in the company of others, and Oreo was lonely.

That’s why we welcomed her into our sanctuary family, where she is now surrounded by love, safety, and new friends. Oreo is as sweet as her name suggests and absolutely lives for affection — she truly loves love.

Oreo also lives with severe arthritis in her legs, requiring ongoing medication and specialized care to keep her comfortable and happy.
